How would remove a sponsorship logo from a soccer jersey without damaging it?
Q. For example how would remove a Fly Emirates from an Arsenal Jersey? Would you need a different process for the Carlsberg logo from a Liverpool, or both logos from a Sporting Lisbon jersey? I know that many Man U fans would gladly remove the AIG from jerseys. FC Brugge and Newcastle United fans would also love from remove their albatross of a sponsorship logos too!

How to remove the sticker in the cartridge of an advance game?
Q. I want to remove the emerald sticker. Is there a way to remove it with one try and leave no mark? And after removing it, It has to stick again. If it's possible.

A. There is no way to remove the sticker without marks. Even less will be the chance of the sticker to stick again. So while the above warning about a booby trap is complete bogus, you will however still ruin your sticker.

How to remove burnt labels from stainless steel vessels?
Q. Hi, My husband used a brand new stainless steel saucepan without removing the label stuck on its side. Now it is burnt and hard to remove. How can remove it and shine the vessel?

A. Half fill with cheap vinegar and set it to bubble (not boil) for a while. Should lift the marks and make the pan shiny again. If not, try cooking rubharb in the pan. That does amazing things to the inside of stainless steel pans.

How can I remove really stubborn wallpaper?
Q. I'm stripping some wallpaper... well, to be accurate, it's 2 -3 layers of wallpaper (from before I bought the house). The trouble is, the last layer is proving really difficult to remove It's a shiny, non-porous surface that won't seperate from it's backing paper. Therefore my usual method of soaking with a sponge and then scraping it off isn't working as well as usual. At the moment I'm having to soak, scrape around the edges, remove a bit and expose more backing paper, soak that, scrape, removing a bit more etc. At this rate I'll still be doing it in a months time! Anyone have any better suggestions? (apart from knocking down the wall - I have toyed with the idea!) Thanks, Paul.

How can I remove the plug wires and spark plugs from my 98 olds intrigue?
Q. I'm trying to remove the plug wires and spark plugs on this car but it has a boot that covers the spark plug and the end of the plug wire. A. Here's what ya do.. the rubber boot is part of the spark plug wire. If you are replacing it with new wires just pull and tug till it comes off. It just "snaps" in place but over the years the rubber has kinda glued itself to the plug. You will probably pull the wire out of the boot, once this happens that wire is no longer any good. That rubber piece stuck to the plug is actually a part of the wire. Sometimes it helps to get a pair of pliers of some kind and clamp the tip of the boot on rotate it in a circular motion, this will break the "seal" or bond that is making it stick to the plug. Once it (the rubber boot) twist freely on the plug it should pull straight off fairly easy. There is a metal clip inside the boot that is clipped on the… [cont.]

How do i remove the throttle cable from a 1975 Suzuki TS185 enduro carburetor?
Q. I am removing the carburetor from a 1975 suzuki ts185 enduro bike for cleaning reasons. however i cant figure out how to disconnect the actual throttle cable. i unscrewed the top cap but there is a spring underneath and an actual throttle wire that does not want to be removed. Any tips or clues on how to remove the cable from the carb are greatly appreciated.

A. yes pull the spring up cup it in your hand and there should be a small plate below. Push the cable down 1/4 in to 1/2 inch and push it to the side and then pull up. its slotted with a hole large enough to pull it and a slot to a smaller hole that it normally rests in.

A. Removing Linoleum Adhesive Scraping up is hard to do Eventually, every old house restorer gets stuck with removing the mastic adhesive left behind by linoleum. The problem is, many different kinds of mastics have been used over the course of a century, making it difficult to predict their exact ingredients and the methods that might soften them. Even more of a concern is the fact that some of these mastics-and the lining felts that accompany them-used asbestos as a component (some floor tiles are also this mineral). This rules out machine sanding (which clogs the paper anyway) and other operations that will make these materials friable, releasing asbestos fibers into the air and creating a potential health threat. How can I remove masonry nails from my concrete wall?
Q. I am removing wall paneling and behind it is a bunch of masonry nails with a very small head. Since they are in my concrete wall and have a small head, I cannot just use regular methods to remove them. How can I remove them so I can still waterproof paint my concrete walls?
Asked by andrewteg - Thu Jan 11 14:37:33 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. These nails are very hard. Sawzalls and hacksaws will probably show you very little relief. Breaking them off will probably prove to be the best and fastest method. Smack them with a hammer as if you were going to bend them over. You may have to do this in two directions. Take care in doing this around any windows or doors as the broken nail may break glass. Also make sure you use Eye protection. The flight path of these small missiles can be very unpredictable. good luck!!!

How do you remove acrylic finger nails yourself?
Q. I have decided to remove my acrylic nails. I've been able to remove all but two and they will not come off! I know that acetone will remove them, but how do you use it? Any advice or info is appreciated!
Asked by Lisbeth - Sat Dec 6 10:01:05 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Acetone will take them off. It basically dissolves them so it will take time. Be careful when you soak them off as your nail gets soggy and if you scrape off the acrylic too much you will start scraping your nail too. You could buy an acrylic nail file, they are more heavy duty, and thin out the acrylic before soaking them off.

How do you remove ingrown hair altogether?
Q. I've researched on how to do this, but all that comes out is just the usual heating then individual removing then cleansing. This is how to: 1) Ingrown hairs have been around for the last 50 or so years.. 2) the problem started showing up just after the Shaving creams and after-shave lotions came to the markets 3) What does it have to do with the ingrown hair? Well , it is simple, by using these products, you will make your outer skin nice and soft, at the same time you increase the elasticity of the skin, thus, the hair that you just shaved can t break through the skin, thus starts to coiling up under the skin. How can I remove a broken light bulb from the light socket?
Q. I was trying to remove a light bulb and some how the glass portion broke off. Now I can't seem to remove the the part the screws into the socket. Does anyone know how to remove it?

A. I've seen folks do it with a half-potato. Haven't personally tried it, but it looks like it would work. Several times when it has happened to me, I've used a pair of needle-nosed pliers. Turn off the power to the light socket, use the pliers to bend back a section of the light bulb base, then use that as a fulcrum to turn the base and unscrew it.
