How is the "Average Account Age" in the Equifax credit report calculated?
Q. I have a combination of Open, Closed, Revolving, consolidated and unconsolidated student loans, and a couple credit cards I have never used. I have averaged these in many different ways but have not yet arrived at the "Average Account Age" that is reported in the Equifax credit report. For those who haven't purchased their report, an "average account age" is given, and the longer it is, the better for one's credit score. Hopefully someone who has a simpler credit history can shed some light on how it is calculated. Thanks!

A. I believe it is oldest account (in month) plus newest account (in month) divided by 2. Card 1: 24 month Card 2 : 16 month ==> 24+16= 40 / 2 = 20 month (1 year 8 Month ) average account age.

A. A franchisee owns the store with the name of the bigger company (as in owning a Subway location). An authorized dealer is authorized to sell the company's products (like T-Mobile phones) but the store isn't part of the actual company.

What's the difference between "dating" and "in a relationship"?
Q. I don't do the whole dating thing or whatever too much, but a lot of people agree that there is a big difference between "dating" someone and "being in a relationship" with someone. Could someone tell me that that difference is?

A. I would be glad to answer your question. As you already know, you can have a pretty hard time finding "the one" in today's society. People tend to play games and if your not careful, you can get your heart broken instantly. Back to your original question about dating and being in a relationship. Dating someone is pretty much getting to know them. Their is usually no ties, no commitment, in fact the two of you are allowed to see other people. This can be dangerous cause if one person starts to grow feelings quicker than the other, they can be misled.
